Global Poker's progressive daily login bonus lets you keep playing for free.

First, you will start with 1,000 Gold Coins and 0.25 Sweeps Cash.

After claiming this bonus seven days in a row, it increases to 2,500 Gold Coins and 1 Tournament Entry.

Global Poker’s ring games simulate real-money cash games.

Within the limits set by each table, these classic multiplayer poker games allow you to choose how much to buy in for, fold if you don't like your hand, and jump into a new game within seconds.

Poker tournaments

Tournaments are a huge attraction at the Global Poker room.

Some scheduled events, particularly those with guaranteed prize pools, have drawn fields of as many as 100 players.

Only Sweeps Cash may be used in these tournaments.

Poker game types

Global Poker has several formats, including Pot Limit Omaha (PLO), Omaha Hi-Lo, Omaha Hold'em, and Crazy Pineapple.

• Pot Limit Omaha: PLO is a flexible variant where the maximum bet and raise amounts depend on the pot size. It caters to both beginners and high rollers.

• Omaha Hold'em: Similar to Texas Hold'em, but with four hole cards instead of two. Players can only use two of these cards. It’s a simple poker variant that rewards skill without being too hard for newcomers.

• Omaha Hi-Lo: Also known as Omaha 8, this variant splits the pot between the best "High" and "Low" hands at the end of the round. While not beginner-friendly, it’s a popular variant at Global Poker.

One of the main highlights of Global Poker is its slick and well-designed user interface.

With loads of filters, the site makes it easy to find the right poker ring game or tournament, and the casino-style games have a mini-lobby that is easy to use.

The registration process is easy and even better; you won’t have to verify your account to use most of the site’s features, including buying Gold Coins (GC) and redeeming Sweeps Cash (SC).

Below, I’ll explain how these features work and walk you through the registration and verification processes.

Account registration

There are a few ways you can sign up to play Global Poker.

The easiest way you can sign up and make a Global Poker login is with Google Authenticator (Log In With Google).

Grant Google permission to share your data and accept the terms and conditions - that's it.

If you’d prefer to register using Facebook, simply follow the same instructions, and you’ll also have to create a new Screen Name.

Alternatively, you may start from the beginning by typing in your email and creating a password.

This is the only way that has email verification.

Check your email inbox for the verification link, then do as instructed.

Verification

Global Poker’s verification process involves two primary steps: identity verification and address verification.

First, once logged into your account, click the Menu icon and click “Verification”.

There aren’t any forms to fill out, and you will only be asked to upload documentation to verify your identity and proof of address.

• Identity verification: Upload a copy of an accepted ID (driver's license, passport, or state-issued ID) along with a selfie taken within your Global Poker account.

• Address verification: This step requires submitting documents like a driver’s license, bank statement, utility bill, or government-issued letter, all dated within the last six months. Send these documents via email to [email protected].

Keep in mind that address verification can take some time, as the Global Poker team will individually review all submitted info.

For example, my process took about a day, but your experience could differ.

Verification is not required at Global Poker, but is it beneficial?

The main draw is being able to redeem 4x more Sweeps Cash per month.

For unverified players, purchases & redemptions are still available but with greater restrictions.

Global Poker lobby

At first, you might feel a little overwhelmed by how feature-rich Global Poker’s main lobby is.

There are more than 10 filters.

All of them will be set to active as a default.

You will also view a changing list of ongoing games that fall under the selected search criteria, as well as all the active promotions at the right end of the screen.

Getting around the lobby becomes infinitely easier simply by knowing how filters work.

Those are the three equivalents of what is offered in the “poker game type” (which is the “Format” section), pot limits (“Limits”), and initial payment requirements (“Buy-in”) boxes on the left side of your Poker page.

If you look at everything and make sure all the boxes have check marks in them, the lobby will essentially just provide you a list of all the contests and tournaments.

Try different filters, and soon you will find those that suit your needs.

The casino's slots and tables portion is on a different casino that is much smaller and easier to browse with a few filtering options, including New Releases, Classic, Tables, All (Games,) and Jackpot.

Global Poker on mobile

Global Poker doesn't have any dedicated mobile apps.

However, its website is perfectly mobile-optimized, so you can sign up, play, buy Gold Coins, or redeem Sweeps Cash just using your phone’s browser.

There are no problems with playing poker games on mobile.

While Global Poker doesn’t have a conventional VIP program, it does offer a one-of-a-kind rakeback program—the site refers to it as The Vault.

Rather than giving you a percentage of your losses back, like standard cashback bonuses, you can earn up to 30% of your stakes back every time you play an eligible hand.

There's a small catch, though - you can only collect rakeback on the bets you make in the ring games or what the company refers to as “fast-forward” (fast-fold).

Previously, it permitted players to get rakeback from the surge games, but they were removed in August 2023.

On the plus side, rakeback is automatically calculated and delivered to your Vault instantly.

There are separate Vaults for Gold Coins (GC) and Sweeps Cash (SC), which are stocked with the currency you are using at the time of play.

You can access your Vault by signing in to your Global Poker account and tapping on the Profile icon, and under your avatar, you will see the "Vault".

From there, you’re able to claim your earnings by tapping the “Claim Now” buttons within the GC and SC Vaults.

It’s worth remembering that Sweeps Cash from The Vault is counted as bonus money, and several players have in the past had issues when redeeming it, so another good piece of advice is to wait before claiming your rakeback if you’re planning a redemption.

Complete your redemption request first and claim the rakeback bonus afterward to avoid issues.

Redemption thresholds are really low at only 10 Sweeps Coins (SC) for a gift card and 50 SC for a cash prize.

Purchasing Gold Coins

While it’s not necessary to use real-world money to purchase Gold Coins, this is the fastest way to access free Sweeps Cash and to make sure you have enough play-money currency to practice with.

Global Poker sells packages of Gold Coins, which come with a bonus free allotment of Sweeps Coins (SC).

The lowest package costs $5 and grants a small amount of SC.

As the package amount increases, the free amount of SC will grow with the most expensive package costing $500.

This package gives 2.6m Gold Coins plus $515 of free SC.

Redemptions

Redemptions are available but can take quite a long time if you do not have a verified profile.

To redeem either a gift card (minimum 10 Sweeps Cash (SC) required) or a cash prize (minimum 50 SC required), you need to be logged in.

Then, click on the “Store” tab in the top menu, followed by “Redeem Prize.”

Next, you’ll be able to choose between a Gift Card and a Cash Prize.

By selecting a gift card, Global Poker will send a $10 gift card to your mail.

By selecting the cash prize option, you’ll need to enter your bank account information.

Cash prize payouts usually take between 1 and 10 days.

Several factors contribute to how quickly the payout is processed.

The first is how recently the player was verified.

Priority is given to verified players, but prize payouts still depend on the amount of traffic the site experiences at a given time.
