Placing Bets

Users are able to place bets on a multitude of sports and events.

They have the option of wagering moneylines, spreads, totals, and prop bets.

Live in-game betting is also available.

It is no different than using a traditional sportsbook for your sports wagering needs.

Social Features

Fliff fosters interaction between community members by allowing users to follow friends, see what their friends have picked, and compete against each other on leaderboards, enhancing a social and competitive aspect of the experience.

In this section, I'll explain how the main bonuses at Fliff sportsbook work.

Welcome bonus

New players receive a welcome bonus of 1,000 Fliff Coins and 1 Fliff Cash after registration, a 400% bonus, respectively, on first purchase.

The purchase bonus applies to packs up to $99.99, i.e., nearly everything in the shop.

Since this is a one-time-only promotion, it’s wise to select your first Fliff Coins bundle carefully.

Daily login bonus

When a daily login bonus is available, you'll see the "Claim Now" button appear above the bottom menu.

Just tap it and collect your free coins.

The bonus gifts you 1,000 Fliff Coins and 0.10 Fliff Cash every 2 hours (5x per day) alongside a flat 5,000 Fliff Coins once a day.

You also will not receive free Fliff Coins if you have a positive Fliff Balance.

Additionally, insofar as you have any pending redemptions, the Fliff Coins portion of the bonus will not be awarded.

Fliff social sportsbook sometimes offers promo codes instead of the normal welcome bonuses.

For example, the code "FLIFFBONUS" provides a bonus on your first purchase.

Standard betting markets

Fliff launched with basic 3-way betting markets like moneylines, spreads, and totals.

When the sportsbook began adding more sports betting options, such as a flurry of team and player prop bets.

Each betting class has distinct options to choose from, but you'll often see things such as winning margins and total score.

Parlay bets are available; Same Game Parlays (SGPs) are not available at this time.

Boosted games

Boosted games, or boosted odds on certain events, are common across sportsbooks, but they are a key feature of Fliff.

The Featured Boosted Games update every day.

Players will be able to easily identify them by selecting the “Boosted” filter in the lobby.

Fliff embraces a straightforward, user-friendly layout that you'll instantly become familiar with if you know your sports betting lingo.

I would have given a 5-star review if it weren’t only on mobile.

This section will lay out how Fliff works, its mobile apps, and the filters and features you’ll use to find your favorite sports picks.

Registration

Fliff is a sports betting mobile-only platform.

To jump in, download it on the Google Play Store (Android) or the Apple App Store (iOS).

If you don’t see the app, head to getfliff.com to find direct download links.

- Open the installed application and tap on "Sign Up."

Fill out the form to register, then check your email to verify your account.

Click link to go back to the app.

You can then log in using the username and password you signed up with.

Verification

Like social sportsbooks in general, Fliff requires users to confirm their identity and address to play.

This involves uploading a valid, government-issued ID, proof of address (a utility bill, for example), and your Social Security Number (SSN) to verify your eligibility.

Before heading into the verification process, log in to your Fliff account and hit your Profile icon.

You’ll see the verification options for phone, email, ID, and address there.

You’ll have to submit required documents such as utility bill for address verification and Item screenshot of ID or Driver’s license for identity verification.

Once your SSN is verified and your information meets our requirements, you will be #FliffCertified.

Mobile play

Fliff is available only via a mobile app.

While there is a desktop app for those who wish to bet via a computer or laptop, you must still download the desktop app to register.

The app on iOS is compatible with iPhones running iOS 13.4 and later.

Most newer Android devices won’t have a problem running the app.

I tested Fliff both on my Samsung Android and my iPhone.

Since it was the same app, all of the differences in loading speeds, lag, and connection stability were based on phone specs.

The interface, filters, drop-downs, and match previews all look identical across both iOS and Android.

All features and markets are accessible on both devices.

Rewards, prizes, and loyalty program: 4/5

Fliff has a unique loyalty program that is the VIP, but with no levels, and it’s all lumped together.

While there aren’t any progressive rewards, you’ll still earn redeemable XP points, which negates this minor shortcoming.

Let's look at the benefits available to members of this sportsbook.

Experience points

Experience points (XP) are the third form of virtual currency in the system.

They have multiple different functions, depending on how and where they’re distributed.

You can earn XP by staking Fliff Coins, completing challenges, or inviting friends.

Once you earn enough XP, you’ll be able to redeem them for gift cards or free Fliff Coins.

Using Fliff Coins

You're awarded experience points for every sports bet you place.

You earn 1 XP for every 1,000 Fliff Coins in wagers.

What's great is that you get XP whether your bet winds up winning or losing.

Daily challenges

One of my fave features of the Fliff social sportsbook is the rotating daily challenges.

For each achievement you complete, you'll earn 2 XP.

You won't lose XP for skipping achievements.

There’s an additional bonus hidden in the Daily Challenges section nearby.

You get five different tasks every day.

If you complete them all, you’ll get an additional 5 XP for a total of 15 XP for the day.

The challenge types are generally what you’d expect, with little variation.

Sometimes, you have the option of an easy task— “Make a straight pick”—but most challenges are conditional: “Make a pick on A vs B.”

I haven’t seen any complex challenges involving player props or parlays, likely because all challenges award the same number of XP points.

Level-up bonus

When you go to “Rewards,” you’ll be able to see a bar with your current XP points.

When it fills up, you "level up" and gain bonus XP.

For example, the first page requires 2,000 XP, and the reward is 100 XP.

Without paying for money buys, if the only XP that you receive is from XP from picks and challenges, as well as completing all daily tasks every day (15 XP) and wagering at least 5,000 Fliff Coins a day (5 XP), then it will be 100 days before you fill your XP bar.

Having tested for over a month, I did not progress to the next level, so whether the level-up bonus increases or not is yet to be comprehended.

VIP referral program

The fastest way to get tons of free VIP level experience points is through friend referrals to join Fliff sportsbook.

You will earn 20 experience points for each US dollar your referrals use in the Coin Shop.

The bonus is maxed out at 10,000 points (or $500) per referral.

Fliff has apps for Android and iOS, so you would think it's a given you'd have Google Pay and Apple Pay support.

However, Google Pay is not supported.

One reason I like app-based betting is just because of the convenience of having a wallet connected to my device.

Its absence in Fliff has negatively impacted its payment score.

Despite this, Fliff has a far superior payment system to most, offering six payment methods, fast redemption speeds and six Fliff Coin bundles to purchase, costing anywhere between $1.99 and $99.99.

Buying Fliff Coins

Fliff is a lawful social sportsbook and does not offer Fliff Cash for sale.

Purchasing Fliff Coins is not obligatory, but it’s well worth doing because every pack you buy comes with free sweepstakes currency.

You can purchase Fliff Coins using popular payment methods, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, or an online bank account.

You need to be logged in and verified to purchase.

Once verified, navigate to the Settings menu, select the “Shop” link at the bottom right, and you will see the six Fliff Coins bundles available at these price points:

Upon triggering the first-purchase bonus, the "400% Match on your First Purchase" notification is presented at the top.

All bundles will display a blue “x5″ribbon, and the currency will get updated.

Without the bonus, you will earn about 1,250 Fliff Coins and 1 free Fliff Cash per $1 spent.

This rate is a little on the high side compared with some competitors.

Redeeming Fliff Cash

Fliff Cash redemptions can be difficult due to the different wagering requirements.

Fliff operates on a "pod" system, meaning each batch of Fliff Cash deposited has its playthrough requirement (between 1x playthrough and 20x playthrough) and its independent rollover progress.

You can view your wagering progress for each pod by clicking on your wallet.

In basic terms, Fliff Cash are promotional tickets with various wagering requirements that you'll need to satisfy before you can cash in the winnings.

On the plus side, it only takes 50 Fliff Cash to make a minimum redemption, and you can redeem up to $5,000 in a single transaction.

To request a redemption, log into the Fliff app, tap the Settings menu in the top-right corner, “Redeem Fliff Cash,” and select your method – either online banking or Skrill.

As per the T&Cs, refunds are 3 to 5 working days, but my Skrill redemptions were a bit faster than the bank transfer option.

Safety & security: 5/5

Fliff has been a trusted name in US social sports betting for nearly 6 years, making it a reliable app.

Fliff apps and website are protected by 256-bit SSL encryption technology from Amazon, keeping your data safe.

The sportsbook’s digital security was tight; it would be very difficult to crack anything there, on top of its layer of added geofence.

Fliff has also barred users in 12 U.S. states and all offshore territories.

So, if you don’t qualify, you won’t be able to download it from Google Play or the Apple App Store.

However, it is a little awkward to use on mobile since it is difficult to switch between tabs.

That’s how Fliff built its core engagement product.

The help centre features more than a dozen in-depth articles covering important subjects such as verification, sports picks, account management, purchases, promotions, and much more.

You can search with the built-in tool to look for specific articles, or ask the chatbot to find them.

The live chat was useful for general inquiries when I tested Fliff, though I didn’t have to lean on it much.

During my testing of the app, I sent over five emails and received replies within hours every single time.
